The horizontal looper arrangement can be engineered around existing plant length, crane routes, maintenance aisles and downstream strip-processing equipment.

Flatness Control
Cooling and line layout are engineered together.
For flatness-sensitive strip, cooling temperature, airflow distribution and strip tension must be tuned as a system. AKS designs the cooling section to help reduce center wave and edge wave risk.
